The partnership Legerwall was founded in 2013 by Hans Eike von Oppeln-Bronikowski and Matthias Hoppe. It expanded further when Dr. Hans-Michael Giesen joined on August 1, 2018, Georg Castell on January 1, 2019, Götz Geweke on June 17, 2019 and Dr. Enno Stange on October 1, 2022.
