Professional liability insurance for attorneys and civil law notaries
The provider maintains a professional liability insurance – as required by the German Regulation for Lawyers (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO) and the German Regulation for Notaries (Bundesnotarodnung, BNotO) – at Ergo Versicherung AG, Direktionsgeschäftsstelle Düsseldorf, Hansaallee 101, 40549 Düsseldorf. The sum insured is at least the sum as required by BRAO and BNotO. The geographical scope of insurance coverage includes activities in Europa and, therefore, meets the requirements of Sec. 51 BRAO.
